Parkview Awards

Parkview Elementary School Earns State Awards

The State PBIS Network recognized Parkview as a
2013-2014 Positive Behavior Interventions and Support School of Merit in June 2014.
In September, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction announced that Parkview school has earned a 2014-2015 Wisconsin Title 1 School of Recognition Award.  We are please to have qualified for the award in two distinct categories:  High-Achieving School and High-Progress School.

Thank you to Mark Justesen and the News Graphic photographer for sharing their photograph of our staff.  A wonderful article about our accomplishments appeared on the front page of the September 9th edition of the News Graphic.

Dad's Club Serves a Delicious Pancake Breakfast

Thank you to our PTA Dad's Club for providing a wonderful warm breakfast on Friday morning.  The current members of our Dad's Club, and Mr. Keller, the coordinator, would love to have more dads join the group.  Please contact Mr. Keller at skeller@cedarburg.k12.wi.us for more information.

2014 Recess Rodeo

Our 2014 Recess Rodeo was a great success.  Students had the opportunity to practice recess games and playground equipment expectations with teacher guidance for a large part of the day.  We are glad it didn't rain and the clouds kept the temperatures quite pleasant.  Parkview students continue to model Parkview Pride by being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe on our playground. See our PBIS Celebrations page for pictures.

Great First Day

Parkview students and staff had a great first day of school!  I was very impressed with the manners and cooperation modeled by all of our students.
Parkview Bullpups are already showing Parkview Pride by being respectful, responsible, and safe.
Parents, thank you for sending your children to school ready to learn.
On Monday, September 8, all students and staff are asked to wear the color blue in support of our character theme for the month: Trustworthiness.
